Glass beach house glowing at sunset above the Pacific

LOT 03 · Coastal

Vela

Available Glass Beach House Victoria Beach, Laguna Beach 33.5133° N, 117.7623° W

The location

Two stories of glass cantilevered over the sand, built for sunset frames.

Vela is a camera trap. The architects hung two glass pavilions over the bluff so that from the deck, the horizon runs unbroken through every room — and at sunset the whole house becomes a lightbox.

The lower level opens completely to the pool deck and fire feature; the upper level holds four ocean-facing suites and a glass-railed terrace strung with festoon lighting. Interior finishes are quiet — pale oak, plaster, stone — so wardrobe and product always win the frame.

Load-in is direct from the street to the deck, rare for a bluff house, and the west orientation gives DPs a fifty-minute golden hour with no neighboring rooflines.
