Spanish bungalow entry framed by bougainvillea

LOT 10 · Character

La Paloma

Available Spanish Bungalow Melrose Hill, Los Angeles 34.0836° N, 118.3089° W

The location

A bougainvillea-arched 1920s casita with a hand-tiled kitchen straight from a food shoot.

La Paloma is the neighborhood shot. A golden-stucco 1920s casita under an arch of magenta bougainvillea, on a street of matching Spanish bungalows with olive trees down the parkway — turn the camera either direction and the world holds.

The kitchen is the star inside: hand-painted Talavera tile counters, a farmhouse sink under gingham curtains, copper pans on the rail. Food stylists ask for it by name.

Small crews only, and that’s the point: this is the intimate, lived-in California that stages can’t fake.
